Joinery manufacturer installed a Titan ER610 slitter rewinder

A leading United Kingdom based producer of fitted kitchens, appliances and joinery products has installed a new Titan ER610 slitter rewinder.

For the production of joineries, vinyl film is supplied on 1400 mm wide reels which are then slit into the required widths. The installation of the new slitter solved some pain points in the production such as tension inconsistency.

Ispak purchases 6 slitter rewinders from Kampf

During drupa the Turkish company flexible packaging manufacturer Ispak Esnek Ambalaj Sanayi and Kampf Schneid- und Wickeltechnik have agreed on the delivery of 6 slitter rewinders.

The package consist of 4 fully automated dual turret slitter rewinders model KAMPF Autoslit III 14/06 and 2 highly automated slitter rewinders model KAMPF Conslit 14/08.

The purchase is part of the EUR 50+ million investment for the new factory in Izmit. The new factury will house new printing presses, lacquering, extrusion coating and lamination machines, etc

Dutch company buys Bimec slitter rewinder

The Netherlands based flexible packaging producer Verpakkings Industrie Veenendaal has bought its 5th Bimec slitter rewinder at drupa. The dual spindle slitter rewinder Bimec STB is slitting at speeds of up to 800 m/min, has a working width of 1350 mm and is equipped with an automatic knife positioning and automated roll unload system.

Four slitter rewinder for new Bopet plant

SRF Limited a producer of packaging films is setting up a new BOPET plant in India and KAMPF will deliver four machines to SRF for this green field project.

According to the manufacturer, the plant will produce up to 30,000 tpa of BOPET film. The capacity for metallized film is said to be 8000 tpa. More than 60% of the proposed project output of flexible packaging will be used in the food packaging and beverages industries.

Paper slitting and rewinding solutions at drupa

Goebel IMS will exhibit its broad machinery portfolio at the drupa. Amongst others, they will present the T2 series, which are single shaft centre winders to convert specialty, standard and aseptic packaging papers. Basic models have a working width of up to 2200 mm and a rewind diameter of up to 1800 mm, at a max speed of up to 1200 m/min.
