Flint Group has acquired American Inks and Coatings. The chemical giant states that this investment is an important part of their global long-range strategy to grow in key segments.

Bemis grows through acquisition

Bemis has signed an agreement to acquire the medical device packaging operations of SteriPack Group.

This acquisition includes a facility in Ireland as well as packaging production assets in Malaysia and the United States. These operations recorded annual net sales of approximately USD 65 million in fiscal 2015. SteriPack Group will continue to independently own and operate its contract manufacturing services business.

Amcor spends USD 435 mio in South American

The worlds largest packaging producers has expanded its footstep in South America by the acquisition of a major local player, Alusa. The purchase price of USD 435 million represents 8.5 times Profit Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortization (PBITDA). Alusa – which includes Alusa (Chile), Peruplast (Peru), Aluflex (Argentina) and Flexa (Colombia) – is owned by Techpack S.A. and Nexus Private Equity.
